1. When you started playing professionally?
I play sports since my school days but can't continue due to some reasons. Then one day I came to know about Ultra running that is any distance more than 42.195 KMs.. So, I thought this is something different and challenging too then I decided to give it a chance and it was December 2017. It was my first 12 hour stadium run in Delhi. Then I googled more about Ultra running and came to know that we have a chance to represent India at international level in Ultra running, then I decided to emphasize it in a professional way and I took part in two or three private events and secured a podium there. My first AFI certified event was in March 2019 that was a 12 hour stadium run in Panchkula, Haryana where I covered a distance of 110.54 Kms. in 12 hours and finished as a runner-up.

2. Who motivated you to participate in Athletics?
My motivation is always my father who use to go on a early morning walk regularly and that is where from my journey Athletics started.

3. Do you have any hobbies or interests beside sports?
Yes, I love being socialized and spend my free time with children and old aged people. I also love helping the needy people and whenever I got the opportunity, I do that. I am interested in Politics.

4.What are the reasons you like being a part of sports?
First of all, I belong to a Jaat Kisan Family so physical hard work is in my blood. Also, Sports makes your lifestyle healthier. I love competitions and challenges. One of the most important reasons to be the part of sports is fame.

5. What drives you to get up early in the morning and go training everyday?
Of course my dream is there that posses me to wakeup every morning to for training. Also, when you achieve something then your loved ones have a lot of hopes from you.

6. Can you tell about your upcoming competitions in which you are going to participate?
I am not sure about this right now because now-a-days I am struggling through some injuries and also the condition outside is not good due to covid pandemic so things are being uncertained right now.
I can't say something about upcoming competitions.

7. What is your biggest achievement till now in your sports career?
Biggest achievement is my first 24 hour stadium run in Taudevilal stadium in Panchkula, Haryana. In last year February 2020, where I covered a distance of more than 205 Kms. which was official qualification for Asian and Oceania championship but the championship couldn't take place due to covid pandemic.
But this qualification had given me the chance to represent myself in AFI(Athletics Federation of India)
in 6 hour virtual global solidarity run which took place in more than 32 countries and I am the only male Athlete from Uttar Pradesh to achieve this.

8. What is the status of Athletics sport in India?
This is something important 'Status of Athletics' I must say it is pathetic and why I'm saying this because I had also worked as a technical official in various state and national athletics meet. So there we can see the reality. Also, political leaders and administrative officers of some cities doesn't even take care about all these things. I can tell this thing better because I had suffered from all these things and still suffering. That's why talent quits at early stages and you can see the results at International level in Athletics which is almost zero. Even we are not matching the qualifying standards.
