First Indian woman to win a Silver at the Olympics: PV Sindhu

   Pusarla  Venkata Sindhu is an Indian Badminton player. She became the first Indian woman to win a silver at the Olympics.  P.V.Sindhu won Gold medal at Badminton World Championships Sindu was born on 5 July 1995 in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India to P.V.   Deepika Kumari, currently ranked World No. 9 in Archery. She was born on 13 June 1994 to father Shivnarayan Mahato, an auto-rickshaw driver and mother Geeta Mahato, a nurse at Ranchi Medical College in a Prajapati Family in Ranchi, Jharkhand.   Mangte Chungeijang Mary Kom, who is populalry known as Mary Kom  is the only Indian female boxer to have qualified for the 2012 Summer Olympics. Dutee Chand is India's first athlete to openly come out as a member of the LGBTQ+ Community. She is an Indian professional sprinter and national champion in the women's 100 metres event.  Chand is the first Indian to win a gold medal in 100m race in a global competition.   Dutee Chand was born on 3 February 1996 to father Chakradhar Chand and mother Akhuji Chand in the chaka gopalpur village, Jajpur district of Odisha.
